[origin: WO2022106111A1] The invention relates, inter alia, to a transverse member (18) for a ladder frame (10) of a motor vehicle, preferably of a commercial vehicle. The transverse member (18) has an elongate support body (46) having a top side, a bottom side and at least one through-hole (52, 54) connecting the top side to the bottom side. The transverse member (18) has at least one elastomeric bearing (48, 50), which is arranged in the at least one through-hole (52, 54) and is designed to elastically support a propulsion unit (12), preferably having a traction battery, on the transverse member (18). Integrating the at least one elastomeric bearing (48, 50) into the at least one through-hole (52, 54) can provide high attachment rigidity around the at least one elastomeric bearing (48, 50).
