Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2022106110A1] The invention relates to a fuel injector for the metered dispensing of fuel, having a housing (1) that comprises a retaining body (2) and a nozzle body (3), wherein a pressure chamber (4) that can be filled with fuel at high pressure is formed in the nozzle body (3), in which pressure chamber a movable valve element (7) for opening and closing an injection opening (9) formed in the nozzle body (3) is arranged. The nozzle body (3) has a cylindrical shaft portion (18), on the end of which the injection opening (9) is formed. By means of a clamping nut (4), which, with an inwardly protruding lip (15), engages behind a clamping shoulder (17) on the nozzle body (3) and which is screwed into a thread on the retaining body (2), the nozzle body (3) is braced against the retaining body (2). The shaft portion (18) is surrounded by a heat-conducting sleeve (20), which engages in an undercut (22; 122; 222; 322) on the inner side (16) of the lip (15) on the clamping nut (4) and which forms a thermal contact with the clamping nut (4).
