A device (11), a system (1) and a method for facilitating assembling a slatted surface onto a building structure (2), wherein the device comprises a clip strip (11) having a plurality of slat clips (111) mutually spaced apart by clip spacers (112) flexibly connected to the slat clips (111), each slat clip (111) comprising a bottom clip portion (111a) and spaced-apart side clip portions (111b) protruding from the bottom clip portion (111a), wherein the side clip portions (111b) of each slat clips (111) forming a gap (111d) and being provided with opposing gripping elements (111c) for, in an operating position, engaging a portion of a slat (12).
