[origin: WO2022117311A1] The invention relates to a handle for a machine tool, said handle having a switch-on lock and an actuation switch. The handle is characterized in that the switch-on lock is designed to prevent contact between a spring element of the actuation switch and an electronic switching element in a locking position of the switch-on lock while permitting said contact in an operational position of the switch-on lock. In a second aspect, the invention relates to a machine tool having a handle as proposed. In further aspects, the invention relates to methods for switching on a machine tool and for switching off and locking a machine tool, wherein contact between the actuation switch and an electronic switching element can be prevented in a locking position while being made possible in an operational position.
