[origin: WO2022117951A1] The present invention relates to a method for synthesising functionalised mercaptan, comprising the reaction between a compound of formula R2-X-C*H(NR1R7)-(CH2)n-G (II) and H2S in the presence of at least one enzyme chosen from among the sulfhydrylases; the reaction taking place in a reactor with a partial pressure of H2S in the gaseous headspace of the reactor of between 0.01 and 4 bar, preferably between 0.1 and 3 bar, for example between 0.1 and 2.5 bar, and more preferably between 0.25 and 2 bar, at the reaction temperature.
