[origin: WO2022122794A1] The invention relates to a mouth-and-nose covering having at least three flexible air-permeable layers arranged parallel to one another, of which one layer (10) faces the body of the wearer and covers the mouth and nose area during use, having a connection region in which the layers are connected to one another and which runs around in the edge region or adjacently to the edge region of the mouth-and-nose shield, at least one of the middle layers being provided with bacterial filter material. At least the layer (10) adjacent to the body of the wearer of the mouth-and-nose covering is formed with air spaces in its interior. It consists in particular of a knit micromesh material consisting of polyamide, polyester or polylactic acid.
