[origin: WO2022122189A1] The present invention relates to a thermal management system (2) for a vehicle, comprising a controller, a first coolant circuit (4) having a first coolant pump (6), a second coolant circuit (8) having a second coolant pump (10), and a multi-way valve (12) which closes each of the coolant circuits (4, 8) and can be automatically actuated by means of the controller, and wherein the first coolant circuit (4) and the second coolant circuit (8) can be fluidically connected to each other by means of the multi-way valve (12) depending on the actuation of the multi-way valve (12), wherein, when the first coolant pump (6) is activated and the second coolant pump (10) is deactivated, a coolant circulates substantially in the first coolant circuit (4), and, when the first coolant pump (6) is activated and the second coolant pump (10) is activated, the coolant circulates in the first coolant circuit (4) and in the second coolant circuit (8), which is fluidically connected to the first coolant circuit (4) by means of the multi-way valve (12).
