[origin: WO2022127958A1] The invention relates to a motor vehicle lock, in particular a motor vehicle door lock. Said motor vehicle door lock essentially has a locking mechanism (1, 2) consisting of a rotary latch (1) and a pawl (2). Furthermore, at least one actuating lever (4, 5, 6) and a release lever (7) are realized which can be brought into engagement via a coupling element (8), in its coupled position, and can be brought out of engagement, in its uncoupled position. Finally, a mass inertia lever (9, 10) for urging the coupling element (8) into its uncoupled position at least in a crash situation is also provided. According to the invention, the actuating lever (4, 5, 6) has to undergo a 2-stroke actuation in order to open the locking mechanism (1, 2) during or after a crash situation.
