Abstract (en)
A mechanism is provided which makes it possible to improve usability of an inhalation device. This inhalation device is provided with a communication unit which communicates with other devices, a heating unit which heats a substrate containing an aerosol source to generate an aerosol, and a control unit which controls operation of the heating unit; from the aforementioned other device, the communication unit receives setting information including information indicating an operation pattern, and the control unit sets the operation pattern indicated by the setting information received by the communication unit, and controls operation of the heating unit depending on the set operation pattern.
