Abstract (en)

The eco-friendly paper grave candle represents a radical innovation on the market due to its manufacturing method and its eco-friendly features because it doesn't contain plastic parts, which greatly contributes to ecology and sustainable development, but also due to the unlimited possibilities of personalization. The possibility of communicating with the buyer is far greater due to the possibility of printing, which is not possible with classic grave candle manufacturing techniques. The eco-friendly paper grave candle disclosed herein contains a paper container made of non-combustible paper in the shape of a cylinder mantle with an inner and an outer side, wherein the said mantle and the cylinder bottom are made of non-combustible paper, wherein the outer side of the mantle is protected from humidity by applying a water-based varnish, while the inner side of the mantle is coated with a fire-resistant varnish. The combustible material consists of liquid paraffin and alcohol obtained from fats of plant origin.
