[origin: WO2022136395A1] The current invention relates to a device for cleaning menstrual cups comprising a body with an inner cavity for receiving a menstrual cup and washing water, a detachably cap, further referred as top-cap, for closing the body's open-top, a cap, further referred as bottom cap, for closing the open-bottom, and portions in the inner cavity to hold and support the menstrual cup inside the device; the different parts being made of a bio-compatible rigid material; wherein the top-cap is hollow with a central hole, and contains a brush attached to its inner ceiling and a joystick that pass through the top cap and finally inserts itself into the brush. The invention also relates to a method for optimizing the use of menstrual cups comprising sub sequential menstrual cup's cleaning steps including water filling, turning the joystick, blood diluting, and emptying the device.
