Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2022128261A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a plastic granulate provided with pigments, comprising the following steps (i) to (iii): (i) providing a carrier film of plastic; (ii) coating the carrier film with an individual layer of a pigment material or a layer packet of a plurality of pigment materials; and (iii) shaping the coated carrier film under a thermomechanical effect into a plastic granulate provided with pigments, wherein during shaping the plastic of the carrier film is completely melted while a plastic matrix is formed and the individual layer or the layer packet is detached from the carrier film by the shear forces occurring during the same and are comminuted to form platelets which are surrounded by the plastic matrix.
