Abstract (en)
A wireless power transfer ("WPT") pad apparatus 126, 128 includes a ferrite structure 702 and four windings 602 adjacent to the ferrite structure 702. A horizontal surface 1012 of the ferrite structure 702 is adjacent to each of the four windings 602 and each of the four windings 602 are wound in a horizontal pattern that is planar to the horizontal surface 1012. The four windings 602 are arranged in a two-by-two square pattern in a north-south-north-south polarity arrangement.
