[origin: WO2022175375A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a press-in connection and to a press-in connection of this type between a component (300) and a fastening element (200). A head (207) of the fastening element (200) is pressed into an unperforated component (300), without piercing said component. An interlocking connection effective in the axial direction is formed between the head (207) and the component (300) as a result of material deformation. For small press-in forces, the head (207) has a central region which protrudes in the axial direction.
