[origin: WO2023213925A1] A steam generator (1), comprising: a housing (2); a flow channel, through which a heat-exchange fluid, preferably flue gas, can flow from an inlet of the flow channel to an outlet of the flow channel, wherein at least one portion of the flow channel is arranged as a first heat-exchange element (3) in the housing (2); at least one second heat-exchange element (4), which is arranged in the housing (2) and through which water can flow for steam generation; a heat-transfer medium, which is arranged in the housing (2), in order, for steam generation, to transfer heat from the heat-exchange fluid flowing through the flow channel to the water flowing through the second heat-exchange element (4), characterized in that the heat-transfer medium is a salt bath, and the cross section of the flow channel at the inlet of the flow channel is greater than at the outlet of the flow channel.

Dampferzeuger (1), aufweisend: ein Gehäuse (2); einen Strömungskanal, der von einem Einlass des Strömungskanals zu einem Auslass des Strömungskanals von einem Wärmetauschfluid, bevorzugt Rauchgas, durchströmbar ist, wobei zumindest ein Abschnitt des Strömungskanals als erstes Wärmetauschelement (3) in dem Gehäuse (2) angeordnet ist; mindestens ein in dem Gehäuse (2) angeordnetes zweites Wärmetauschelement (4), das zur Dampferzeugung von Wasser durchströmbar ist; ein Wärmetransfermedium, das in dem Gehäuse (2) angeordnet ist, um zur Dampferzeugung Wärme von dem durch den Strömungskanal strömenden Wärmetauschfluid auf das durch das zweite Wärmetauschelement (4) strömende Wasser zu übertragen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Wärmetransfermedium ein Salzbad ist, und der Querschnitt des Strömungskanals an dem Einlass des Strömungskanals größer ist als an dem Auslass des Strömungskanals.
