Abstract (en)
This application provides a precoding method and apparatus, to improve precision of an uplink precoding matrix. The method includes: receiving a plurality of precoded downlink reference signals (201); and measuring the plurality of downlink reference signals and determining an uplink precoding vector corresponding to an uplink data stream (203). According to this application, a plurality of downlink reference signals can be measured and processed, so that a terminal device can more precisely obtain, based on measurement results, an uplink precoding vector corresponding to an uplink data stream, thereby improving precision of the uplink precoding vector. This can reduce signal interference between multiple users, and improve signal quality.
