Abstract (en)
Embodiments of this application provide a port management method for user access equipment, and user access equipment. In the method, the user access equipment can receive at least two uplink data packets, and the at least two uplink data packets are uplink data packets of a same class of service. The user access equipment sends at least two processed uplink data packets through at least two uplink ports, where IP addresses of the at least two uplink ports each are a first IP address, source IP addresses of a first uplink data packet and a second uplink data packet in the at least two processed uplink data packets each are the first IP address, and the first uplink data packet and the second uplink data packet have different VLAN values. It can be learned that the user access equipment can implement uplink data transmission based on different VLANs by setting a same source IP address and different VLAN values for data packets of a same class of service. This helps reduce IP address resource consumption.
