[origin: WO2022153011A1] The invention relates to a fire extinguishing device (1) comprising: - a body (2) defining a storage chamber (4) containing an extinguishing composition, and - a distribution system (20) configured to distribute the extinguishing composition outside the body through an outlet port (10), characterised in that the extinguishing composition has, at an operating temperature and at 1 bar, a saturated vapour concentration greater than or equal to its extinguishing concentration as determined according to the standard ISO 14520 for a heptane fire at 1 bar, the operating temperature being less than or equal to -10°C, and the extinguishing composition comprising at least one perfluoroketone and/or at least one perfluoronitrile.
