A heating cooking apparatus (100) includes a heating cooking chamber (100A), a first heater (141), a first fan (142), a second heater (131), a second fan (132), and a control unit (5). The first fan (142) blows first air heated by the first heater (141) into the heating cooking chamber (100A). The second heater (131) heats second air (F2). The second fan (132) blows the second air (F2) heated by the second heater (131) into the heating cooking chamber (100A). The control unit (5) controls the first heater (141), the first fan (142), the second heater (131), and the second fan (132). The control unit (5) stops energization of the first heater (141) and energizes the second heater (131) before notification of completion of a preheating process. The preheating process indicates a process in which a temperature in the heating cooking chamber (100A) exceeds a threshold temperature at least once.
