[origin: WO2022159206A1] Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for demodulation reference signal (DMRS) sequence selection. One aspect provides a method for wireless communication by a first wireless node. The method generally includes selecting a type of DMRS sequence to be used for communication with a second wireless node based on a signal quality associated with the communication, receiving a message having the type of DMRS sequence, and performing channel estimation based on the DMRS sequence using the message.
