Abstract (en)

[origin: CA3205163A1] The invention relates to a method for handling (flat) objects (10), in particular hygiene products such as diapers, sanitary pads, or the like. A group (11) of objects (10) are subjected to a compression process in a compressing device (18) so that the group (11) of objects (10) have a degree of compression as a result of the compression process. The invention is characterized in that multiple compressing devices (18) are arranged one after the other such that the group (11) of objects (10) compressed by one compressing device (18) are supplied to the following compressing device (18) with the respective degree of compression of the objects and are further compressed in the following compressing device (18) in order to achieve a higher degree of compression.
