[origin: WO2022164460A1] The present application provides a system for proper life-cycle management of plastic products and the plastic waste that plastic products produce. The system may include at least one instrument for marking plastic, or plastic-containing products with a detectable and observable imprint, mechanical embossment, label, or other signifying mark or inclusion; a first data recording device being connected to at least one mechanical or electronic sensor configured to count a number of marked plastic or plastic-containing product, and configured for the periodic transmittal of the total mass of plastic; a data acquisition and control unit or data server that receives data transmitted from the first data recording device, and automatically manages routine billing of fees; a facility for the disposal or elimination, in an environmentally responsible manner, of an amount of plastic waste; and a second data recording device located at a site or sites of the environmentally responsible plastic waste processing facility or facilities.
