[origin: US2023402785A1] An electrical connector (2) including a male contact (4) and a female contact (6) movable between an uninserted configuration and an inserted configuration, wherein the male contact is inserted along an axis of insertion (D) into a housing (10) of the female contact, the female contact including: a body (12), a plurality of blades (16), and a protective system (18) comprising:an insulating jacket (26) surrounding the blades,an insulating component (28) movable in axial translation with respect to the body between a rest position, wherein the insulating component at least partially closes the housing and abuts axially against the female contact, and a pushed-in position, wherein the insulating component is pushed towards the bottom of the housing by the male contact,a mechanism (30) for returning the insulating component to the rest position.

Connecteur électrique (2) comportant un contact mâle (4) et un contact femelle (6) mobiles entre une configuration non insérée, et une configuration insérée, dans laquelle le contact mâle est insérée selon un axe d'insertion (D) dans un logement (10) du contact femelle, le contact femelle comportant : un corps (12), une pluralité de lamelles (16), et un système de protection (18) comprenant :- une enveloppe (26) isolante entourant les lamelles,- un organe d'isolation (28) mobile en translation axiale par rapport au corps entre une position de repos, dans laquelle l'organe d'isolation obture au moins partiellement le logement et bute axialement contre le contact femelle, et une position enfoncée, dans laquelle l'organe d'isolation est poussé vers le fond du logement par le contact mâle,- un mécanisme de rappel (30) de l'organe d'isolation vers la position de repos.
