Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2022171938A1] A control device (DC) for controlling the configuration of a battery (BR) comprising modules (MS1-MS2) for storing electrical energy that are coupled to one another via main switches (CP1-CP5) that each receive a control signal defining a state in which it must be placed and each consuming a current. This device (DC) determines whether a combination of future states forms part of a set of forbidden combinations of states depending on the currents consumed by the main switches (CP1-CP5), on actual states in which the main switches (CP1-CP5) are placed and on control signals for the main switches (CP1-CP5), and if so determines for each of the main switches (CP1-CP5) a new control signal that modifies the combination of future states in order to make it non-dangerous.
