[origin: WO2022174238A1] Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may provide, to a distributed unit (DU) of the base station, an indication of one or more candidate physical entity (PHY) profiles. The base station may receive, from the DU, an indication of a selected PHY profile, of the one or more candidate PHY profiles, to use for communication with a device, such as a user equipment. Numerous other aspects are described.
