Abstract (en)
A fan coil unit (1) comprising: a rigid box-like outer casing (2) with a self-supporting structure, which is provided with a through-duct (3) adapted to be crossed by the external air; a heat exchanger (5) which is located inside the through-duct (3) so as to be lapped/crossed by the air flowing along the duct; electrically-operated ventilation means (4) that are adapted to circulate the external air along said through-duct (3); and an electrically-operated humidifier assembly (9) that is adapted to introduce water vapor inside the place to be air-conditioned and includes a removable modular unit (20) that produces water vapor upon command and is inserted/insertable in removable manner into a corresponding housing seat (21), which is accessible from the outside of the same box-like casing (2) and prolongs/extends inside said box-like casing (2).
