Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2022179721A1] The invention relates to a device for supplying a machine tool with electric energy. The device can be used for example to connect the machine tool to an energy network such that the device can perform the function of a power adapter. The device according to the invention comprises a first component for converting an alternating voltage into a direct voltage and a second component which is designed to convert the direct voltage generated by the first component into a device direct voltage. Another aspect of the invention relates to a system which comprises the aforementioned device and a machine tool, wherein the machine tool is supplied with electric energy using the device. The invention additionally relates to the use of the proposed device for supplying a machine tool with electric energy. Advantageously, particularly high power densities can be achieved, and power outputs of more than 1,700 Watt can be provided.
