[origin: WO2022180314A1] The invention relates to a method and a device for controlling the opening of a door (101) of a vehicle (10). According to the method, the opening of the door (101) is detected according to a first opening position with a first opening angle. When the door (101) is opened, the presence or absence of an object (11) approaching the vehicle (10) is determined from data received from at least one sensor (102) for detecting objects which is fitted to the vehicle (10). A system for blocking the opening of the door, which system is fitted to the vehicle, is advantageously controlled according to the outcome of determining the presence of an object (11) in order to authorise or prohibit the opening of the door (101) from the first opening position to a second opening position having a second opening angle greater than the first opening angle.
