The invention also relates to a method for authenticating the payment card (1) and the bearer (100) of said payment card (1) with a view to carrying out a secure operation relating to personal data of the bearer (100) of the payment card (1). Finally, the invention relates to a use of the authentication method to make a remote payment using the payment card (1).
