[origin: WO2022183225A1] The invention relates to an apparatus for machining the running edges (12) of a sporting device (9), more particularly a ski or a snowboard, comprising a transport apparatus (6), which can be temporarily connected to the sporting device (9), for the automated movement of the sporting device (9) in a movement sequence having, at least in parts, a movement direction (X) substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the sporting device (9), wherein the following are located one behind the other in said movement sequence of the sporting device (9): - a lower-edge machining unit (2) for machining a lower surface (13) of at least one running edge (12), said lower surface laterally adjoining the running-surface covering (10) of the sporting device (9); - a lateral-edge machining unit (3) for machining a lateral surface (14) of the at least one running edge, said lateral surface adjoining the bottom of the lateral surface (24) of the sporting device (9); and - a deburring unit (4) for removing a burr (16) formed by the lateral-edge machining unit on the at least one running edge (12).
