[origin: WO2022184990A1] The present invention relates to a cap (16) and a cap assembly (12) for a container (10), comprising: a cap body (20) pivotably mounted between a closed position and at least one open position; a tamper-evident ring (26); and two connecting arms (34, 36) which are each connected, on one side, to the tamper-evident ring (26) and, on the other side, to the cap body (20) by means of a hinge. The cap body (20) comprises a locking pin (46) which is located between the two connecting arms (34, 36) and which axially extends towards the tamper-evident ring (26) when the cap body (20) is in its closed position. The locking pin (46) comprises a free-end edge (48) and an outer axial surface (50).
