[origin: WO2022184944A1] The method (30) for absentee voting comprises: - a step (31) of connecting a user terminal to a first server, - a step (32), performed by the first server, of authenticating the user of the user terminal, and of associating a single vote number with the user, - a step (33), performed by a second server, of storing the vote number of the user, - a step (34), performed by the second server, of transmitting a ballot validation code to the user terminal, - a step (36), performed by the user terminal, of writing information representative of the ballot validation code to an electronic tag, - a step (38), performed by the second server, of transmitting a ballot validation element to a vote counting system, - a step (39), performed by the vote counting system, for each voting ballot associated with an electronic tag, of reading the information representative of the validation code from said electronic tag and - a step (40), performed by the counting system, of checking the correspondence between the information representative of the read validation code and the received validation element and, only if this check is positive, a step of taking into consideration the ballot associated with said electronic tag.
