[origin: GB2604626A] Method of weft knitting fabric article 100 using knitting machine comprising first (3, fig. 1) and second (5, fig. 1) needle beds, the method comprising knitting a part of base component comprising a first section 103 with knitted courses extending in a first direction and a second section 105 with knitted courses extending in a second direction different to the first direction, the knitting comprising knitting a plurality of courses of yarn using tuck-rib stitches while selectively racking one of the first and second needle beds (3, 5, fig. 1) relative the other of the first and second needle beds (3, 5, fig. 1), the plurality of courses of tuck-rib stitches comprising first sequence of tuck stitches on the first bed (3, fig. 1) and knitted loops on the second bed (5, fig. 1) and a second sequence of knitted loops on the first bed and tuck stitches on the second bed; knitting conductive yarn forming first and second conductive regions 107, 109, first region 107 connected to first section 103 of base component and has knitted course in the first direction, second region 109 connected to second section 105 and has a knitted course following the second direction.
