[origin: WO2022194597A1] The invention relates to an item of outerwear, in particular a jacket, coat or waistcoat, having a back part (2), a chest part (3) and two side parts (7, 9), which are arranged on opposite sides between the back part (2) and the chest part (3) and to each of which a sleeve (8, 10) is attached level with a shoulder region (11), wherein on an outer side (22), which is directed away from a wearer, the back part (2) has at least one fastening element (23), which is suitable for releasably securing the back part (2) to a backrest (24) of a seat (25), in particular to a backrest of a wheelchair. According to the invention, the side parts (7, 9) and the chest part (3) are releasably connected to the back part (2) via at least one back-part-closure device (12), so that the back part (2) can be detached from the two side parts (7, 9) and the chest part (3) and, in the detached state, forms a part which can be handled separately.
