[origin: WO2022195202A2] Autonomous metrological device (100) for calculating a cost associated with the use of a vehicle (1) for making a journey, comprising: a first electronic module (10) for data acquisition which is designed to communicate over a wireless network (11) with at least one device (5) external to the vehicle in order to acquire a first value of at least one spatio-temporal datum on the vehicle over a given time period, a second electronic module (20) for data acquisition which comprises means (21) for connecting to at least one device (2) internal to the vehicle in order to acquire a second value of said at least one spatio-temporal datum on the vehicle over said given time period, and a computing unit (30) which receives the values acquired by the first and second modules and which is able: to select, from among the first and second values, the value of said spatio-temporal datum on the vehicle to be taken into account in calculating the cost of the journey, and calculating the cost of the journey as a function of said selected value.
