Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2022193251A1] Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to indication of reference signal presence. A first device receives, from a second device, information indicating presence of at least one reference signal during one or more time windows. The first device determines, based on the information, whether to monitor for the at least one reference signal during at least one of the one or more time windows. In accordance with a determination to monitor for the at least one reference signal and in accordance with a determination that the first device is in a non-connected state, the first device monitors for the at least one reference signal from the second device during the at least one time window. This solution enables the first device in the non-connected state to monitor for the reference signal to improve time-frequency synchronization and potentially skip reception of the SSB burst (s), which can save energy consumption.
