Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2022078535A1] The present invention relates to a device (1) having a specific multi-part housing (4, 5) and having a cutting-element assembly for cutting fruits, more particularly citrus fruits, which device cuts a whole fruit into individual smooth slices with a single lever movement. The fruit to be cut is pressed onto the cutting-element assembly by means of the pressing part (2, 2') by the use of a lever (23), as a result of force transmission. The device (1) consists of a multi-part housing (4, 5), which, because of a specific design perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the device, ensures high stability during use of the device (1). The mechanism consists essentially of the pressing part (2, 2') and a holding part (3) having a blade block (17), which blade block has elongate cutting elements (12) arranged in a V shape with respect to each other and has a cutting element (19) perpendicular thereto, wherein the cutting lines (15') of the cutting elements (12, 19) do not run straight.
