[origin: WO2022207836A1] A filter section for a smoking article, wherein the filter section comprises a cylindrical shape and extends from a distal to a mouth end, thereby creating a flow path for at least one fluid, wherein the filter section further comprises at least one filter material and a cavity, wherein the cavity is surrounded by the filter material. According to the invention the cavity comprises at least two compartments being in fluid connection to the filter section and blocked by a common breakable barrier, wherein each of the compartments comprises components for a mixture with a hydrophilic character to absorb water from the fluid flow path, wherein a first compartment comprises at least a first component and a second compartment comprises at least a second component, wherein the first component comprises a dispersed tobacco product and the second component comprises a fluid absorbent material.
