[origin: WO2022200380A1] The present invention relates to a method for coating particles (12), said method comprising the method steps: a) providing particles (12) to be coated; b) providing a coating material (18), the coating material (18) being in fluid form; c) forming an in particular continuous stream (16) of the coating material (18); d) introducing the particles (12) into the stream of coating material (18) at a first frequency ƒ1; e) forming drops (40) from the stream (16) of coating material (18) at a second frequency ƒ2, where ƒ2 is equal to or a multiple of ƒ1, such that drops (40) are formed with particles (12) contained therein; and f) solidifying the coating material (18).
