[origin: WO2022207292A1] The invention relates to a tub (1) for a laundry treatment appliance, having at least two tub parts (3, 4) which are arranged axially adjacent to one another with respect to a longitudinal centre axis of the tub (1) and are connected to one another circumferentially in the region of a casing (2) of the tub (1), wherein each tub part (3, 4) has, at an axial end, a radially outwardly facing, circumferentially arranged connecting flange (5, 6), wherein the connecting flanges (5, 6) are connected to one another by means of at least one circumferentially arranged welded connection (7). In order to reduce repair costs of the laundry treatment appliance that arise in the event of damage, each connecting flange (5, 6) has a circumferentially arranged inner connecting portion (8, 9) and, offset radially outwards therefrom, a circumferentially arranged outer connecting portion (10, 11), wherein the two outer connecting portions (10, 11) are connected to one another by means of the welded connection (7).
