[origin: WO2022200359A1] The invention relates to a lighting unit (1) having: a lighting unit body (2) for receiving a lighting means, said lighting unit body (2) having a light outlet opening (23) for the outlet of light of the received lighting means in a light emission direction (A), and a light passage element (3), which can be mechanically coupled to the lighting unit body (2) in a selective manner such that the light of the received lighting means exiting via the light outlet opening (23) passes through the light passage element (3) in order to emit light from the lighting unit (1), wherein the lighting unit body (2) has a first coupling section (4), and the light passage element (3) has a second coupling section (5), said coupling sections interacting such that the light passage element (3) can be moved between an assembly position, in which the lighting unit body (2) and the light passage element (3) can be separated from each other, and a coupling position, in which the lighting unit body (2) and the light passage element (3) are mechanically coupled together, by means of a rotational movement about a rotational axis (D) relative to the lighting unit body (2). The lighting unit body (2) has a first locking section (6) and the light passage element (3) has a second locking section (7) which can be locked together in a locked connection in the coupling position such that a relative rotatability between the lighting unit body (2) and the light passage element (3) about the rotational axis (D) is prevented.
