Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2022207486A1] The invention relates to a method for automatically adapting a first digital peripheral (2) comprising a set of interaction means (4) capable of emitting a first set (S1) of digital signals that are compatible with an operating system of a first information processing machine (3), the adaptation method comprising: - a step (P11) of identifying an operating system of a second information processing machine (3') to which the first device (2) is connected, then - a step (P12) of associating a second set (S2) of digital signals that are compatible with the operating system of the second information processing machine (3') with interaction means (4) and/or with combinations of interaction means (4) of the first peripheral (2), the steps (P11, P12, P13) of identification, association and transmission being implemented by means of a microprocessor (5) integrated in the first peripheral (2).
