[origin: WO2022208034A1] The invention targets a method for subscribing a first communicating entity (2) to a second communicating entity (3), said method being intended to be implemented by the first entity and comprising: - a step of requesting subscription to the second entity in order to obtain information regarding at least one event monitored by the second entity, this subscription request indicating at least one encoding format supported by the first entity; and - following detection by the second entity of a said event corresponding to the subscription request, a step of receiving, from the second entity, a notification comprising information relating to said detected event and encoded by way of a said encoding format supported by the first entity and indicated in the subscription request.
