An information display unit (49) that is segmented into a plurality of display regions is formed on the cartridge (40). The MCU 63 acquires information relating to the cartridge (40) on the basis of information relating to light that is received by the cartridge information reading device (24) and that is reflected by each of the display regions in the information display unit (49), the MCU 63 being capable of executing a cartridge information acquisition process.
