Die Erfindung betrifft einen Dampferzeuger (1) umfassend einen Vorratsbehälter (12), eine Befüllpumpe, eine Dampfkesseleinheit, einen Applikator und ein Gehäuse (2). Hierbei umfasst das Gehäuse (2) eine Wanne (3) mit einem Aufnahmeraum und einen Deckel (4) umfasst, wobei die Dampfkesseleinheit in einem unteren Bereich des Aufnahmeraums in die Wanne (3) eingesetzt ist und wobei der Vorratsbehälter (12) in einem mittleren Bereich des Aufnahmeraums über der Dampfkesseleinheit in die Wanne (3) eingesetzt ist.
