The invention also relates to a power coupling (50) having such a power jack (1) and an associated power plug (30). Die Erfindung betrifft eine Strombuchse (1) zur lösbaren Verbindung mit einem Stromstecker (30), mit einem Grundkörper (2) aus elektrisch leitfähigem Material mit einer Bohrung (2') zur Aufnahme eines im Wesentlichen zylindrischen Bolzens (31) des Stromsteckers (30) und mit einer Einrichtung (4) zu Verbindung mit einem Stromkabel (40), wobei im Grundkörper (2) eine wendelförmig Nut (5) zur Aufnahme einer Verriegelungsnase (32) des Stromsteckers (30) angeordnet ist. Erfindungsgemäß weist der Grundkörper (2) eine Hülse (3) mit der wendelförmigen Nut (5) und eine Aufnahme (3') für die Hülse (3) auf, und weist die wendelförmige Nut (5) zumindest zwei Bereiche (a, c) mit positiver Steigung auf, und sind am Ende jedes Bereichs (a, c) mit positiver Steigung Bereiche (b, d) mit negativer Steigung zur Bildung jeweils einer Raststufe angeordnet.
