The sensor device detects the presence of an object within the detection region and has a control device for changinge the detection region on the basis of a current movement speed of the door leaf and/or to actuate the drive of the door leaf in the event of a safety response such that a braking distance of the door leaf is adapted to the current movement speed of the door leaf. The use of the safety device in a door drive with a drive unit for moving, or in a door system with, the associated door leaf an automated door system, and an operating method for the door system are also related.

Eine Sicherungseinrichtung einer automatisierten Türanlage (1) hat eine Sensoreinrichtung (4, 4'), gestaltet, so an der Türanlage (1) angeordnet zu werden, dass ein Erfassungsbereich (5, 5') der Sensoreinrichtung (4, 4') einen Gefahrenbereich eines Türflügels (3, 3', 3") sensorisch abdeckt. Die Sensoreinrichtung (4, 4') kann innerhalb des Erfassungsbereichs (5, 5') das Vorhandensein eines Objekts detektieren und hat eine Steuereinrichtung, eingerichtet, den Erfassungsbereich (5, 5') auf Basis einer momentanen Bewegungsgeschwindigkeit des Türflügels (3, 3', 3") zu verändern und/oder im Fall einer Sicherheitsreaktion den Antrieb des Türflügels (3, 3', 3") so anzusteuern, dass ein Bremsweg des Türflügels (3, 3', 3") an die momentane Bewegungsgeschwindigkeit des Türflügels (3, 3', 3") angepasst ist. Die Erfindung betrifft zudem die Verwendung der Sicherungseinrichtung in einem Türantrieb mit zumindest einer Antriebseinheit zur Bewegung des zumindest einen zugehörigen Türflügels (3, 3', 3") oder in einer Türanlage (1) mit dem zumindest einen zugehörigen Türflügel (3, 3', 3").
