The display panel (100) comprises: a first display region (101) which comprises a plurality of first pixel units, and a second display region (102) which is arranged adjacent to the first display region (101), wherein the second display region (102) comprises a plurality of second pixel units, and the load of the second pixel units is smaller than the load of the first pixel units; a first driver circuit (130), which is connected to the first pixel units separately, and which employs a pulse width modulation dimming mode for use in driving the first pixel units to emit light; and second driver circuits (140), which are connected to the second pixel units separately, and which employ one of the pulse width modulation dimming mode and a DC dimming mode according to the target brightness of the display panel (100) for use in driving the second pixel units to emit light.
