[origin: WO2022219040A1] Abstract Markers for the diagnosis of large vessel occlusion The invention relates to a method for diagnosing large vessel occlusion in a subject that is suffering from an ischemic stroke episode, the method comprising determining the level of certain proteins in an isolated sample of a subject. The invention also relates to a method for differentiating ischemic stroke from any other condition selected from haemorrhagic stroke, transient ischemic attack and a stroke mimicking condition. Simplified kits comprising reagents to carry out the methods are also disclosed.
