[origin: WO2022217570A1] Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for air-to-ground (ATG) communications. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes determining one or more parameters indicative of movement of the UE relative to the BS. The method also includes updating a previous uplink timing advance to a new uplink timing advance, wherein the update is based on the one or more parameters, and the new uplink timing advance is a change of uplink transmission timing relative to the previous uplink timing advance. The method also includes transmitting an uplink signal over resources determined using the new uplink timing advance.
